FC 27 Career Mode: what the transfer-request fix changes

Update 1.0.3 addresses an unexpected transfer-request bug. That does not mean every stamina, squad-rotation or Dynamic OVR concern has been resolved.

EA SPORTS FC 27’s October 2 patch addresses unexpected Manager Career transfer requests. That narrow fix is distinct from the wider stamina, rotation and Dynamic OVR concerns EA says it is reviewing. Here is how to separate the two when assessing your save.

What version 1.0.3 says it fixed

The October 2 patch notes call version 1.0.3 live and identify the unexpected transfer-request issue under Career Mode. That is useful for a manager who encounters a request seemingly disconnected from the messages they have received.

The same notes mention a player-duplication problem involving the Club Transfers menu under General. Do not combine the two into a claim that every transfer-system issue has been solved. They describe different faults, and neither entry measures how every existing save will behave.

What remains a development discussion

In the September 29 Career update, the team says it is monitoring Stamina and Dynamic OVR and wants more evidence from longer careers before making significant changes.

Its work list also covers the Team Management interface, unexpectedly high starting ratings for newly generated players, playtime-related transfer demands, the frequency of loan and transfer offers, and Liga BBVA MX season progression. These are different questions. The October 2 Career entry is not an announcement that the entire list has shipped.

How to check your own situation

  1. Record the version and mode. A useful report begins with what you are running and whether the problem occurs in Manager Career.
  2. Describe the sequence. Distinguish an unexpected request with no warning from dissatisfaction following earlier playtime complaints. That distinction matches the narrow issue in the patch note.
  3. Keep observations separate from expectations. If a problem persists, describe what happened rather than assuming a planned rebalance must already be installed.

This is a reporting checklist, not a tested workaround or a promise that restarting a career will repair an existing save. We have not established such a requirement.

What to watch next

EA’s developer note announces a Career Q&A for October 6. As of this check, the official news index lists its newest updates on October 2. Recheck the actual notes for later changes before treating today’s status as permanent.
