GTA Online’s October bonus depends on five weekly challenges
Rockstar’s Halloween event has separate weekly requirements. Here is the calendar behind the extra GTA$2 million, with the first window already underway.

As of 4 October 2026. GTA Online’s Halloween event includes an extra GTA$2 million for completing all five weekly challenges. The key word is all: this is a sequence of dated tasks, not a bonus for simply logging in once during October.
The five windows to keep track of
Rockstar’s October 1 announcement sets out these requirements and weekly cash rewards:
- 1–7 October: secure two Bail Office Bounties — GTA$100,000.
- 8–14 October: win in two Adversary modes — GTA$100,000.
- 15–21 October: win three Races — GTA$100,000.
- 22–28 October: complete all waves of a Survival — GTA$150,000.
- 29 October–4 November: complete ten Survival waves without dying — GTA$250,000.
Each week also has a cosmetic reward. Rockstar says the additional GTA$2 million arrives within 72 hours of completing the whole set. The last window extends into November; do not plan around an assumed October 31 finish.
A useful way to plan your sessions
Make a five-row checklist with columns for the date range, requirement and your own completion note. Keep the requirement intact when shortening it: “win” and “take part” mean different things, as do “all waves” and “ten waves without dying.” A tidy checklist is useful only if it preserves the condition you actually need to meet.
As of this article’s check, the first window is underway. The later rows describe Rockstar’s announced schedule, not rewards we have already earned or verified in play. The announcement does not supply a reset timezone here, so we have not converted its date ranges into invented Berlin deadlines.
Keep the bonus categories separate
The post also lists activity multipliers and dated apparel. Treat those as separate offers when checking your progress. A reward shown elsewhere in the event announcement is not evidence that you have satisfied this five-part challenge.
We recommend checking the current in-game requirement before committing a session, and retaining your own completion record if the displayed result differs from what you expected. This is an organizational suggestion, not a tested workaround or a guarantee about account tracking.
Scope and next check
The official Events index was checked on October 4 and lists the October 1 announcement. All event details here come from Rockstar, with no independent gameplay testing. No additional platform exclusions or catch-up route were established by the consulted announcement. Recheck it for changes before a later window.
This concerns GTA Online. Our separate GTA VI release guide covers a different game. The planning illustration above is original and does not show Rockstar’s game or rewards.
